I’m Evan, founder of Bottango. I started Bottango in 2018 in my garage with a hacked lawn flamingo and spare parts.
With 15 years in game development and a lifelong passion for animatronics, I set out to create a human-focused tool for artistic expression in robotics. I wanted something that made creativity in robotics and motors as easy as it was in the world of screens and pixels.
Over the years, Bottango has grown and become the best tool for creativity in robotics, bridging digital animation workflows with the real world.
Using my years of experience creating art in the digital space of video games, I grew Bottango into a world class tool for creativity in hardware.
Plus, Bottango’s software is totally free and works with open-source hardware you may already own.
